
I found a huge black insect (come back Pequete & identify please!) breakfasting on a marigold in the cemetery. Remarkable when you click on it to see the rim of the bloom through the diaphanous blue wing;
I found the grieving Margarida, frozen in thought with grapes;

I found red &

And the remnants of an abandoned jetty at the river

I found what I had needed and was comforted by taking away these and other images with me. Photography can still take me away to where I need to be, without escape.

The insect is a carpenter bee, a species of solitary bee, Xylocopa violacea. Great shot.
