For Spartakus & Anyone Interested - Jeronimos

Spartakus, and probably Pequete! Seeing Carlos' message in Lisbon Weekly Photo, I've put this together.
This is the Mosteiro de Jeronimos, Belem, where, amongst others, Vasco da Gama is buried.
Of the dozens of pictures - day, night, black & white, colour, film, digis - I've shot of & around the monastery, I've narrowed down to these, to show you most of the frontal façade, then details which are a revelation in the art of 16th-century Manueline architecture.

It's so ornate - the last one reminds me of a sand castle made of drippings!
