I love the wild one - beautiful avocet! Where is it, Tejo estuary?

Cannot resist an immediate reply!
This avocet is one of 3 that are standing framed on a wall here, exuding peace & calm.
These pics were a tribute to Manuel because I wanted to return him my equivalents of what he does so well at his albufera de Valencia. But I have had no lens long enough to do everything I want.
Pequete, I am so impressed! I found this magical albufeira last year in Alcochete and it became a haven for me. So, you have it 100% correct - part of the Estuario do Tejo nature reserve....where they cannot keep out the artificial metallic musak from the Freeport Shopping Mall (muito obrigado, Prime Minister Socrates!)if the wind comes from thewrong direction. An obscenity.
