Maybe this isn't fair to any of these four, or at least to one of them (#1), who seems to have more of a real 'get-your-hands-dirty' job than the other three.
However, I've lumped them together because - have you guessed it? - they are all genuinely smiling while they're at work!
#1 saw my camera aimed in the doorway of her restaurant
in Graça as she was preparing for the lunch rush. I wasn't expecting the response, which was really welcome.#2 also responded in half an instant when she saw me aim and the result marks her out as a true promotional/advertising model pro.
#3 was part of a team promoting the Rock in Rio music festival all over the city. This was on a late Friday afternoon in Praça de Comércio. She is clearly enjoying what she does, whatever it is. I hope her boss gave her a bonus for capturing exactly the right spirit for the tourists & her fellow-workers on their way home. And me, of course.

Seems I can't post 4 pix at once, seeing as I'm the world's worst blogger! But since she was dressed up as a flamenco dancer in the street, I fear the worst (note how I wouldn't use the word B**bo?).
