A Late Welcome to November

So, 6 days into the month (why can't it be April?), feels like the work has carried me far away from cameras and publishing a pinch of time & a few words.
Here's something I saw during a break from working on Saturday. 24 photos shot in 9 days. Says it all.

I did notice the headline on a UK newspaper this morning, that I thought of copy/pasting, with an answer to him. It simply said:

"BUSH HAILS MILE STONE"(s)" . The last thing I would do is hail him back.........maybe hail him a taxi to get him to the nearest .........
Hope I can resume something like normal service soon; remember those long shadows? Well, Posted by Picasa

Bonsoir mile !

Tu as toujours de bonnes idées.
Bonne soirée, mile !

Nope, it can't be April yet, because we'll miss the summer, and I won't get to taste my Italian style tomatoes - which are only about to germinate!!! I haven't even done anything with basil this year - and I hear it's going to be a cool summer.

Fame at last Mile stones! Thanks for your visit. Mick is London born and bred and his team is Millwall. Yes I know their reputation is bad but Micks dad used to take him to The Den when Mick was a wee lad and so he has supported them ever since. The girls even bought him a share in the club on Fathers Day. Dont think we will get to be millionaires on it though!!!!

I am so sorry I have only just found and read your comment on my blog of 4th November. Although I had visited you before I had only looked at the recent postings and had not looked into your archives. Thankyou so much for your words of inspiration. I wish I had found you sooner so that I could have given you my support as you have given me yours. I too have had the Blogger demon swallow one of my posts. It was a very long one describing the months between Micks first symptoms up until I started blogging. I console myself that perhaps I was meant to write them for myself alone and perhaps the world was not ready to hear them. Until our next visit
Sweet dreams and sweet memories be with you

Well, the week has almost run out of time & although I found time to post again, make visits, plant a web album or two, work, walk, drive, wait for a meeting that didn't happen, get sick, get well again, work some more, receive some more work in, I didn't get round to answering you my friends who graced me with your presence on this one. Nor time for replies to mails that should be replied to. I really did this as a filler and didn't expect so much response.

Deepak's birthday is on Sunday & it is a must-visit!!

Mar, de vuelta, que placer trayes siempre!

And Neo & Meg & Marjan & Cergie & Mousie & Lynn & Manuel & Artur (não te preocupes, embora haja montes, é preciso e não estou à queixar-me. Pode ser pior, alias o cliente é um anjo!)- it simply makes me happy to see you all.

And my American friends, the biggest THANKS of the week, if not the millenium so far. Pity you couldn't push hard enough for Dick to shuffle out the back door with Donald - now that would have a been a Mile Stone worth hailing!

Ruth, there is nothing to chide yourself for. You are the one who needs not just support, but more: desrved recognition for your great courage, and your total commitment to caring and giving to Mick. You know I 've said I don't want you to think this is patronising. It is so difficult to say it right, but you now also know that I speak out of the kind of solidarity that comes from knowing from experience what you are doing, what you are living & what you are going through. It is not about heroism; there is simply no choice. Your heart and soul tells your body what it must do, whatever the cost. Just take care of yourself as much as you can too, please!

What a harvest......

Thank you my friend for your kind words both here and on my blog.I shall think of you with each sunset. Mick will be quite happy that you are a Spurs fan; one of our son in laws is. As for them playing Millwall - Millwall were relegated last season AGAIN so could be a few years of hard work for them to get back to Spurs league. Unless of course they ever meet in a cup match - in which case if Spurs do not win I shall say they came second rather than lost as a tribute to you.
Enjoy the sun
