Last Sunday, my friend Patti & I went for a walk in an enchanting 18th-century park and visited the 2 museums on the estate, Theatre and Costume.
It was worth the entry for the park alone. Right on the very edge of Lisbon, unbelievably we had never been there. This is the Monteiro Mor Park in Lumiar. It was just what I had been crying out for and, as usual, practically empty of visitors. So, even better. Such a variety of trees and flowers. What an atmosphere.
Carlos, you realise that you can both walk there from your home, don't you?

And this is my dear friend, Patti. Thank you for a great afternoon.

So happy to have you back! The second pic is my favourite.
You have a knack with pictures - thanks for sharing them with us. I love pictures from far away places - that is how I get through the mundane days of my reality sometimes. :-D Hope today is a good one for you.
Looks like you had a great journey cause the place seems fantastic. I now realise what I've been losing all these years, besides, I pass there lots of times by car.
Green, green, beautiful green--what a lovely place!
Gee, am I the only one more interested in the museums? Costumes? I'm salivating now.
Mas que maraviljosas fotos!Não pode haver maneira mais bonita e compensadora de ocupar o tempo.Porque suponho que é um hobby e não uma profissão.
Sempre que puderes proporciona-noa o prazer de poder ver coisas tão bonitas
