The Shameless Cliché

You know the one, a young Judy Garland gazing up & singing.

Well this has nothing to do with that.

It is just speaking to me tonight.

Para os meus amigos/minhas amigas portugueses e portuguesas: Vou pedir-lhes mais um favor:
PLEASE go and visit a new Portuguese blogista, at http://mamireis.blogspot.com/ . She is Marjan-Afotografia's sogra andisposting abouther life, family, memories and thoughts from Paço d'Arcos. Started this week, but nobody knows about her yet. I adore it, I think it is a brilliant and admirable thing for a 73-yr-old widow to do, but she needs our support & encouragement. I know I can count on you to visit, because I KNOW I can count on you! Obrigadíssimo e beijinhos in advance......

Phenomena that can never be cliches. I drove through one the other day, missed the pot of gold though.

Jenny, is this "Testing, 1-2-3,testing. Mary had a little lamb. Testing"?

Neo, my immediate response, without presumption was simply: "No you didn't. You ARE the pot of gold!". Take it along with you always and find all those other pots nestled away here & there in places likely & unlikely!

Thanks entirely to Marjan, this was the best thing that happened yesterday, an otherwise truly terrible day here.
Mlle P, Mar, Pequete, in addition to everyone who read my request and followed it, like Michael, Edwin, Jenny, Ana & Papalagui - I was just sure you wouldn't let me down, as I said last night. You are THAT good! A touch of Walt Disney in the real world, without the sickly-sweet sensation!
Oh, pequete, I was starting to worry about you, honestly. Glad to have you back! And everyone. This isn't over yet.
