Time to rest and let pictures do my talking.
Only to inform the world that this is what they are saying:
I miss this and what will follow in the next days on these L-Looks so much that it hurts. No cliché.
The pain is real and the pain is mine.

Just believe me.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll bring in an accompanying quote from John dos Passos to illustrate more profoundly how difficult it is for anyone to undertand this pain.
But it there, inside me all the time.

ALL the time................

Great landscapes! What a streght! This beautiful nature landscape is superb!
I'm sure aour reasons are completely diverse, but I miss this too. I hadn't realised it until I saw the pictures. I'm not sure I should thank you.
I know what you mean Ana. It has such a therapeutic, transcendent, reassuring and humbling power, it is magnetic and of course, its power is dangerous and unpredictable. It is nature and often here of a colour that those in the North know nothing about except in holiday brochures and film. Yet, that is NOT what I feel. I miss all of the realties that i have come to know and feel so well, how it repairs the spirit, not just during a 2-week sun/sand holiday, when the object is to make sure you go home looking like a salmão bem grelhado.
I think if you feel that missing, then we both understand why "Thanks" are not really appropriate. But thanks for sharing your reaction, sensitive as always.
